Wall Cap

A Wall Cap should always be used to terminate the end of the duct run in the wall for horizontal discharge, for protection from the elements (water, wind) coming inside, or protection from animals invading the opening. A Wall Cap would commonly be used in conjunction with kitchen, shower area, or bathroom venting to the exterior.
